JLPT 2026

General Information

On Sunday, December 6, 2026, at 12:30 PM, the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) will be administered in Italy.

• Rome – Sapienza University of Rome
• Venice – Ca’ Foscari University of Venice

Payment must be made by bank transfer before completing the online registration.

Required Documents

• A passport-style photo meeting the specified requirements
• Bank transfer receipt
• Italian tax code (Codice Fiscale) - Those who do not already have it can calculate it online through one of the many websites that provide this service free of charge.
• Correctly completed online application form

A smartphone photo of your face may also be used, provided that the background is plain and light-colored.

Important Information

• Registration fees are non-refundable.
• Please carefully verify the level you have selected. It cannot be modified once registration has been completed.
• Use an email address that will remain active until the test date.
• Provide your complete address, including street number.

After Registration

After completing the registration process, you will receive two emails:

1. An email confirming receipt of your application.
2. An email containing your Registration Number and Test Voucher.

Neither communication is automatic; both will be sent only after a manual review of the documentation has been completed, which will take place in the days following registration.

3. You will subsequently receive instructions regarding the documentation that must be submitted.
